The daily life of Star Wars Clones

My daughter & I love to follow the adventures of the clones by kalexanderson on flickr and today my daughter decided she is going to start her own 365. At first she wanted to keep it with the clones but she probably will do a week of clones, a week of another toy, a week of clones,... to keep it interesting for her ;-)

I opened a new flickr-account and will post her pictures as she doesn't speak English yet... This is the new account: Rozebottel-SLVS

Immediatly she went outside with all her props and clones and came back with some real gems. Once I posted her first picture she tought her account was a little sparse with only 1 picture so she shot some what she calls "behind-the-scene" pictures (they're more "real life" pictures than behind the scene but what's in a name ;-P )

Meet the Gimals (Hybrid Girls-Animals)

Some months ago I got introduced to these quirky hybrids by noompje on flickr... They're Littlest Petshop Animal heads mounted on a Polly Pocket-body. I instantly fell in love with these sweeties so I gave it a try and before I knew it I already had made a whole family.

My girl loves them too and takes them to school, her friends thought it was a bit weird in the beginning but they've come around and one already asked if I could make one for her :-D

I also made some bigger ones from LPS DecoPets and a spare Blythe- & a Ken- body, but I'll post about them another time.

Just my luck that Polly Pockets are now getting hard to find in stores here, but yesterday I found a nice package with 3 PPs for only €10 so I made some new gimals with some LPS from the postcard-series that I was able to buy cheaply: a raccoon and a deer (I already had that one but I figured she would make an awesome gimal) 

Miss DearDeer: "It's really wet outside!"

Miss DearDeer: "Can I stay here 'till it stops, please?"
Me: "Well, ofcourse, stay here as long as you want." 

Me: "Oh, that's a cute umbrella!"
Miss DearDeer: "Thank you, I love frogs"

 

Miss FrouFrou: "Oh hi, I'm Miss FrouFrou"
Miss DearDeer: "Hi, I'm Miss DearDeer..."

Miss DearDeer: "Your umbrella is so kawaii"
Miss FrouFrou: "Kawaii??? What do you mean?"
Miss DearDeer: "Kawaii means cute, and I think pandas are cute"
Miss FrouFrou: "Me too, are you staying? Mom, can she, please?"
Me: "Well, if she wants, she's more than welcome..."
